Our Response

We believe lasting change starts with the basics—and in Cambodia, that begins with a safe, stable home. Working alongside trusted local partners, Shelter Equity focuses on building durable, community-owned housing in areas where families face the most urgent needs.

But our work doesn’t stop with shelter. Many of our housing projects in Cambodia also integrate access to clean water, safe sanitation, and transportation—addressing the root causes that keep families trapped in poverty. From installing water systems to providing bicycles so children can attend school, every project is designed to remove barriers and open doors to opportunity.

We remain committed long after construction is complete, offering ongoing support, evaluation, and collaboration with local leaders to ensure every home and resource continues to serve the families who depend on it.
